Current weight:144 lbs. (My weight kind of stabilizes around 145 lbs.)

Method of weight loss:running (oh my god, so much running), pilates, weight training, and a gi focused diet
Comments/questions:trying to lose the weight I gained in college! I coach a girls' cross country team (you'd think I'd be skinny), but I don't eat right.

So, this is sevenredapples I started a new journal because I was going pretty nuts for awhile, getting unhealthy physically and mentally. My new journal is about me trying to lose weight healthily and figure out why I overeat... but enough about that.

So, this community is pretty dead, but does anyone want to do a challenge, or list goals or anything? Any suggestions to get us more motivated and communicating would be great.

Okay. Field hockey is coming up, and so I've been working out a ton to get ready for it and the season to follow it. Running, lifting, ect. I've given up on the weight thing because muscle weighs a ton more than fat does and so its good to weigh more in this case, so long as its toned muscle rather than fat.

But since I've started excercising a lot, I've been eating more often. Not like full meals, but today I had a little granola before and after practice, a salad before the weight room and a salad after, and a little bowl thinger of rice before a jog and a thing of fries(uhg so unhealthy) after the jog. Is this good? Is it going to help me work more or just make me flubby on top of the muscle? Answers would be appreciated if you've got them. Thanks.

Just wanted to share my excitement with yall, weigh in today was 122.5 and I might need some extra support this week because it seems everytime I get down to 122 I screw it up and gain 3 pounds, I feel like I have been fighting to get out of 122-125 forever so hopefully this will be the week I don't drop the ball, good luck everyone

Also I had quite a bit of stress eating yesterday due to a sick pet and she is not out of the woods yet so I am trying to deal with that as well

I'm so close to my short term goal of 199. This morning I was 201.5.

I've lost 23 pounds, and I have 72 to go. 23 pounds feels like nothing, like it's just a drop in the bucket, but that is an accomplishment.

So, I can apparently stop traffic. No, I wasn't directing traffic. I was walking through the parking lot at Walmart on Friday. I was wearing my new halter dress and this guy in his car was so intently staring at me that he drove through a stop sign and almost rear-ended someone in front of him. On one hand, the whole situation was absolutely hilarious but on the other, it was really flattering to me that this guy (and he was pretty cute) found me attractive enough to stare at me for that long and almost get into an accident.

The Final 19! [Monday - June 6th, 2005 @ 12:38pm]

I haven't posted here in ages. Just thought I'd let you all know how I'm doing and where I'm at. :)

That's right...I'm in the homestretch. The Final 19.

It is now time for me to get serious about toning up this body. I have managed to get rid of 42 pounds of fat...let's tone up what's left.

So, to that end, I'm making an excercise schedule and I absolutely must stick to it. For every week I succesfully stick to this schedule, I will buy myself a $10 present. New bubble bath, new makeup, something girly and fun.

Monday: 30 minutes weights (arms), 15 minutes on the Swiss ball (abs) and 10 minutes with the Thigh toner thingy.
Tuesday: 1 hour bike ride (weather permitting) or 30 minutes of Advanced Taebo (standing section).
Wednesday: 30 minutes weights (legs), 15 minutes on the Swiss ball (abs) and 10 minutes with the Thigh Toner thingy.
Thursday: 1 hour bike ride (weather permitting) or 30 minutes of Advanced Taebo (standing section).
Friday: Day of rest. I'm so lazy on Friday nights that this is my logical rest day. I could probably get some weights in while I watch tv. So I'll aim for that. Nothing strenuous like Taebo though.
Saturday: 1 hour bike ride (weather permitting) or 30 minutes of Advanced Taebo (standing section) PLUS 20 minutes of the floor section of Advanced Taebo
Sunday: 1 hour bike ride (weather permitting) or 30 minutes of Advanced Taebo PLUS 30 minutes of weights (arms).

Here are my incentives for the last 19 pounds:

145 pounds: a French manicure (4 pounds to go)
140 pounds: Matt is paying for me to get my hair cut and coloured (9 pounds to go)
135 pounds: a new bathing suit - either another bikini or a really sexy one-piece (14 pounds to go)
130 pounds: GOAL!!!. Now once I reach this weight, I may re-evaluate and decide to drop another 10 pounds. I haven't decided for sure though. It will all depend on how I feel. If this is my final weight, then I go out and get my tattoo. If not, then I'll buy myself some new cds. (19 pounds to go)

I've also decided that once I reach my goal, for every month I maintain, then I will treat myself to something. Just to remind and reward myself for all my hard work.

This is my final challenge. The Final 19.

Ugh I gained half a pound, I guess in a way its a good thing because it shows that I can't do all that cheating, not exercise, and still lose
